Mariano Diaz Miranda, Chief Information Officer (CIO)
After about 18 years of serving our country and helping to defend our nation in multiple roles and venues, I had the opportunity to join ivWatch in late May 2018 in order to make an influence closer to home. I was compelled to join a company that not only has identified a vital necessity but has developed a solution with the potential to make a significant impact on patients of all ages.
My role as CIO is to create business value through technology and security. This includes developing, optimizing and implementing Cybersecurity policies, standards and best business practices (BBP). I also ensure that Information Systems, procedures and policies align with strategic vision and goals of the company through strategic planning to ensure our IT systems and infrastructure are able to adapt, scale and meet business requirements, objectives and vision.
In my short tenure at ivWatch, the most rewarding part of my role is to have the privilege of working with so many brilliant and remarkable people! Here at ivWatch, we are not punching the clock for a 9-5 job. We’re not here to just make money and call it day; ivWatch has a strong mission and I truly believe ivWatch is going to revolutionize the medical industry.
I would summarize the company culture in four words: Caring, Innovative, Talented and Driven. Many employees have experienced an infiltration event, making the mission very personal and drives the team to constantly strive to improve our technology through innovative ideas and testing. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this group. The work is not easy, but that makes it all the more satisfying to know that we are making a difference.

What happens after I apply?
1. The recruiting team will review your application with the hiring team and will email you to let you know if you’ll be moving forward in the interview process.
2. Applicants we would like to get know further are invited to participate in the interview process. Interviews may include some or all of the following: phone interviews, virtual interviews, and/or onsite interviews.
3. If selected, you will be sent an offer letter and new hire information.

ivWatch has an internship and cooperative program that enables students to share their knowledge, ideas and creativity. We offer three-month internships which allow you to work alongside industry experts on meaningful and challenging projects related to your fields of study. We recommend a 3.25 GPA or higher in your course of study.
