EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Scott Hensley, Executive Vice President, Sales & Business Development

I joined ivWatch in May 2017 to build and orchestrate the sales, marketing, and business development teams. ivWatch technology has incredible patent strength and is currently in a unique proprietary position. We have built a solid foundation and our company is now able to accelerate the growth and development of this new market.  The organization is currently delivering high performing biosensor technology to thought-leading institutions around the world. We have entered into several strategic OEM partnerships and we continue to expand outside of the US through selective distribution partners as we seek to provide access to our technology platform around the world.

ivWatch offers a unique opportunity to join an innovative MedTech startup company that is poised to change the global trajectory of peripheral IV safety. The PIV space is a high-risk area of healthcare that has lacked true innovation until now. ivWatch is the first medical device company that is capable of leveraging non-invasive technology to deliver a higher standard of PIV safety.

The most rewarding part of my role is by far helping patients, especially the children, whose lives would be forever altered if they did not have access to ivWatch technology. It is also very rewarding to have an opportunity to apply the knowledge and business strategies that I have learned under previous leaders and mentors as we shape the future of this organization.

What sets ivWatch apart from other companies is every team member plays an integral part in the continuous evolution of our organization. We welcome and encourage input on ways to improve and implement new processes that will ultimately help the patients and customers we serve. The team we have assembled is unselfish, resilient and have very diverse backgrounds. Our team is able to approach problems from different angles and the collective skill set of the group helps to illuminate potential blind spots.

Most people work their entire career and never have an opportunity to join a company with this much potential at this early stage. It’s an exciting time at ivWatch and the best is yet to come!
