How do I apply?
We’re excited that you’re interested in being part of our team. Open positions are posted online, and applications are accepted via our website www.ivWatch.com/careers or through email at hr@ivwatch.com
What happens after I apply?
We take a similar approach to each application we receive for those interested in becoming a part of the ivWatch team.
1. The recruiting team will review your application with the hiring team and will email you to let you know if you’ll be moving forward in the interview process.
2. Applicants we would like to get know further are invited to participate in the interview process. Interviews may include some or all of the following: phone interviews, virtual interviews, and/or onsite interviews.
3. If selected, you will be sent an offer letter and new hire information.

How should I dress for my interview?
Everyday dress code is jeans casual – polos, sweaters, skirts and slacks. When investors or our Board comes to visit, we spiff it up to business casual or better.
Can I make a video cover letter?
Absolutely. We value creativity and want to see your story. Don’t forget to include a traditional resume after you have dazzled us with your video.

Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator is a wonderful opportunity for an R.N. or healthcare professional with bedside experience to transition to a career in medical devices. The Clinical Educator will coordinate activities and training for product evaluations and product implementation at hospital sites. The incumbent will travel to hospital sites and educate nurses and staff on the proper use of ivWatch medical devices. This position will require the incumbent to continuously monitor and update all required training, immunizations and documentation to be allowed on premise at customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Train hospital staff at evaluation sites on proper use and operation of the assigned products.
  • Monitor initial use of the devices at the customers’ sites to establish the safe and proper use of the ivWatch medical device products.
  • Maintain responsibility for successful execution of evaluation trials at customers’ sites
  • Complete all required training, immunizations and documentation to be allowed to educate hospital staff on premise
  • Travels extensively (75%) in performance of duties
  • Works additional hours as necessary to meet objectives
  • Partners with the sales team to visit potential customers during non-evaluation periods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. nursing, biological, medical, physical sciences) is required with preference given to applicants who are current Registered Nurses with 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of hospital protocols
  • Must be energetic, willing to work long hours and travel extensively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with accounts by visiting hospitals and academic medical centers within the assigned territory. In partnership with the Area Sales Director, the incumbent is responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across the assigned region while selling medical device products to customers and acting as the point of contact for post-sale, service satisfaction, retention, and business growth. A Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of B2B sales experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet routinely with Area Sales Director with regard to account progress, growth and coverage, call patterns, competitive strategies and market opportunities.
  • Provide sales forecasts – develop sales forecasts for assigned territory through analysis and interpretation of general economics, industry, marketing and sales data to assist with operational planning, inventories, pricing and budgetary requirements.
  • Effectively manage sales process in territory to meet or exceed territory sales goals.
  • Ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Develop new business and expand existing business.
  • Work independently and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits.
  • Manage customer program within territory.
  • Investigate warranty claims and complaints, and expedite required services to assure customers’ satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments related to the product and market.
  • Perform all administrative tasks required of the position, including submitting competitive activity reports, participation in weekly pipeline sales calls, and timely submission of travel expense reports.
  • Document all activities, communications, and planned activities in company’s CRM system. Keep CRM system current on a regular basis.
  • Travel as necessary in performance of duties.
  • Work additional hours as necessary to meet objectives
  • May develop and lead into a senior account manager in connection with the growth of the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, any life science or engineering related field.
  • Three to five years of B2B medical sales experience.
  • FDA approved medical devices industry experience preferred
  • RepTrax, Vendormate, etc. credentialing required within 60 days of employment
  • Solid judgment along with decision making skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments and work on tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communications and follow-up skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system.
Embedded Software Senior Engineer/DSP

The Embedded Software Senior Engineer/DSP works in a cross-functional team environment on all
phases of software development including requirements, documentation, feasibility, risk
analysis, estimation, design, implementation, unit testing, support of verification/validation, and
maintenance of commercialized product. This person will have an active role in a business that
makes a difference in improving patient care. The individual must be a team oriented, self-
directed learner with a strong desire to positively impact the industry, our customers, and to
drive company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, and evaluate digital signal processing (DSP) systems, including requirements definition, algorithm development, system modeling/simulation, and conceptual board-level layout
  • Perform code refactoring on a product display monitor utilizing Rate Monotonic Analysis used to optimize the tasks in the RTOS
  • Research and develop a comprehensive analysis for product integrations
  • Document projects and designs, including technical requirements, user guides, test results and FDA documentation
  • Perform product testing and create models and prototypes

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE or equivalent, with experience on digital signal processing
  • Experience with embedded software development on DSP with working knowledge of trend changes, deviation analysis, algorithms and parallel computing
  • Solid background of signal processing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in software development lifecycle, test driven development methodology, and programming languages, specifically C/C++/C# and Linux
  • Minimum of 7+ years of general software engineering experience
  • Strong statistics and mathematics experience using MATLAB
  • Experience with medical device regulatory standards (e.g. FDA QSR, ISO) or comparable regulatory industry
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Engineering Project Manager

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of engineering projects from initiation through delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications
  • Serve as technical liaison between engineering and non-engineering departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
  • Ensure engineering projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Direct the effort to define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Create and maintain the project schedule and milestone tracking in Jira
  • Apply multiple project management methods and skills (waterfall, agile, scrum) to tailor the execution of projects with various scope and implementation plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Must have strong work ethic, be well organized and a self-starter
  • Experience in managing engineering projects, with PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred
  • Experience with project managements software, Jira preferred
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Determined, self-motivated and not afraid to get your hands dirty in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

ivWatch has an internship and cooperative program that enables students to share their knowledge, ideas and creativity. We offer three-month internships which allow you to work alongside industry experts on meaningful and challenging projects related to your fields of study. We recommend a 3.25 GPA or higher in your course of study.
